This belt probably has the lowest profile and best clearance for running units than any other 351W main belt. The belt is specifically milled in specific areas to clean long stroke cranks and connecting rods. Cap attachment straps are located around the main caps to stay as close to the net as possible. There is enough oil pump clearance that pump grinding is not required. There is also a dipstick recess, it supports the breather pan and is made from 5/8" billet steel (the thickest steel strip available). A very well designed product.
