The photo shows how far two incorrectly made tips can go and leave a big gap... Compare to the photo of the , which was correctly installed . A tip screwed on worked very well. I didn't want to risk putting different nibs on the Apple Pencil because the plastic on the new nib feels harder than the plastic on the pencil itself. Then the new nib changes the threads on the pencil and won't accept other nibs that are were made to the correct specs, so I have one and the other two are in the bin.
