These crunchy balls are great for children and pets, but not for the wallet. They cost almost $5 a ball. Luckily our kid loves them so the higher price is worth it. The balls are soft and light which is ideal for younger children just learning to throw. Our 1 year old and 3 year old can play ball with them and I don't have to worry about the youngest getting hurt. I like that they rustle and jingle and draw the child's attention. I love the fact that this is a toy for our kids to play with and it doesn't have music. Our dog loves to steal them so we might have to buy him one too. I love any dog toy that doesn't squeak. We are happy with this purchase and recommend it. This would make a great gift for a first birthday or even a new baby.
