Didn't fit me but maybe I'm asking too much of them

Not sure if I'm too picky about these things or not but they can't hold anything more than light sheets or a thin cotton curtain. I have a "locker" in my workshop that I wanted this for. My idea was to hang my htv and perm vinyl. But this baby just slides down the walls of the locker. That's right, on a smooth metal surface. The walls are a bit flexible so it's very difficult to tighten them, but they won't hold up to 2 baby hangers and 12 plastic shower curtain rings. That's all he can endure before he falls. They didn't work for me, but maybe I'll try them with washi tape, we'll see.
