Pristine™ uses bioaugmentation, a non-chemical and natural method to improve water quality. It provides bacteria that break down excess food, waste, and detritus in freshwater and marine systems. It also reduces excess nutrients (like ammonia, nitrates, and nitrites) that can encourage the growth of pests and pathogens. Pristine™ improves water clarity and contributes to the overall health of the aquatic environment. The bacteria found in Pristine™ thrive in fresh or salt water and can digest a variety of organic compounds, including fats, which can form unsightly films. Unlike traditional nitrifying bacteria, this mixture of bacteria can adapt to harsh or low-oxygen environments and continue to multiply and improve water conditions. Biopolymers produced by established bacterial colonies trap particulate matter and improve water clarity. The bacterial species in Pristine™ are a unique blend specially formulated for endurance and their ability to adapt to a wide variety of environmental conditions. Volume: 100ml 250ml 500ml 4L 20L Recommendations for use. Shake well before use. Turn off UV/Ozone. Use 1 full capful (5 mL) per 40 L (10 US gallons). Then use a maintenance dose of 1 cap (5 ml) per 80 L (20 US gal) when adding livestock or destroying the biofilter with cleaning or medication. Antibiotics should be removed with fresh charcoal and water changes before bacteria are added. Wait 2-3 days for the bacteria to take root before using UV sterilizers or ozone.
