I like the design of the teapot. The whistle is not very loud for a whistling kettle. If someone leaves the room, they may not hear the whistle. The grip is not as strong as I would like. We've only had it a couple of weeks and have had to tighten the screw in the handle multiple times. The handle will get hot, so use a hot pad when pouring. In general, I still like the kettle. If only the whistle was louder.
