Strong and durable, after dismantling, cleaning and oiling. Using mine I milled out a 6061 motorcycle mount, pushed the stem, profiled and drilled the mounting holes using this XY table. Each axle has about a half turn (180*) of play, but once I felt the preload/play I got pretty good results and a decent surface finish considering it's being used on a drill press.
