This item is a lot cheaper than Downy Unstoppables which is why I bought it. The smell is good (I like a clean smell) and being Arm and Hammer I assumed (wrongly) that baking soda would be added and would help. The scent doesn't last at all. It's more like you used a strong-smelling dryer sheet. I really wish it would work because it's cheaper but I burn out so fast. I just ordered Purex, another cheaper Downy Unstoppables, to see if it works better. I hope I don't regret it, but most likely I will. Should have just gone broke and got Unstoppables. I recommend you too.
