Review on WONTEX Navy 100% Blackout Curtains For Bedroom, Living Room & Patio – Large 100"X84" Thermal Insulated Room Dividers With Grommet Panels by Wayne Martin

Heavy, large, stifled the morning sun superbly.

First and foremost, i received this item gratis through the Revain Vine program. My review, however, is based solely on usage over my SE facing bedroom patio door.So I'm writing this review as a 90% Work-from Home employee who has fully embraced the entire 'make-your-own-hours' vibe of academic research. I have always hated mornings, but getting up before 10 a.m. was always made easier by the sun pouring through my sliding glass door off my bedroom. Well, these black-out curtains make sleeping until 10, 11, or even noon an absolute possibility, as they are the real champions of sloth. Let me explain. The size of these curtains, just under 8.5' wide by my measure, covers nearly all of my sliding glass door and the lack of a seam in the middle from two panels (the traditional method) means that no light sneaks through. I can still tell it is not night outside, but the minuscule amount of light that seeps into my room is not coming through these opaque beauties but along the edges where they don't lay perfectly flat against the wall. I could, I guess, fasten them at these points, but the cats like to sneak behind them and bask in the sun. I reiterate, no early or mid-morning sunlight is getting through these for me. I'm in the mid latitudes of the U.S. (central PA) so our sun isn't the most oppressive, but regardless I'm very happy with these curtains.
