I bought it for our bedroom ceiling window in the camper. Although the window doesn't let in much light, we still hope that this will be enough to eliminate strong heating in summer and maintain an even temperature and lower light at all times. (we love the coolness and the dim lighting in the bedroom). It is very easy to install. We removed the screw from the frame as recommended and installed it quickly and easily. I took a 3M hook, hooked it to the outside of the window frame and attached the end loop to the hook. Many buyers complained that after attaching the tongue to the 3M hook, the clasp did not fit snugly into the frame. To avoid this, press the 3M hook outside the window frame against the actual ceiling. (Somehow I can't upload a photo!)
