Review on ๐Ÿ”‹ BISSELL PowerEdge Silver Cordless Vacuum by Chris Long

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Decent stick vacuum with one major caveat

I have had many Bissell vacuums over the years although this is my first stick vacuum of theirs. Since I've always had good experiences with it, I thought it was no different. But it turns out I don't like it as much as I thought I would. It's not my first handheld vacuum, but it's the first that doesn't have an external battery... to be honest, if I had wanted to understand that beforehand, I wouldn't have thought of it. I just assumed it was because I've never heard of it, but it's not. That means there's no way not only to buy a backup, but also to replace it if it fails. In my experience, the batteries run out quickly. Not to mention the biggest downside of handheld vacuums in my experience is the very limited run time, and that applies to this one too. You might get 10 minutes of runtime before it's dead. Normally I would solve this problem with a spare battery, but in this case it doesn't work. And that's why I'm deducting two stars because it's a serious problem for me. It's also a really good vacuum cleaner. It is powerful enough for hardwood floors and carpets, but like most other vacuums, it is not suitable for carpets. What I knew and wasn't a surprise. The suction power is great and the container is easy to empty. The Roomba-type bristles on the ends are pretty steep and help get under things, plus I think it's a pretty cool addition to a stick vacuum. They are easy to maneuver and also have a low weight. Overall this is a decent vacuum, although the internal battery is a big issue in my opinion. I think that's great? nope I just think it's ok. So all in all 3 stars.
