Review on 🧽 3M Sanding Sponge, 3.75 x 2.625 Inch by Justin Albright

> I HAVE TO BELIEVE THE BAD REVIEWS

LONGER: I read the bad reviews and thought they were overkill. It's 3M, right? Always high quality, right? Well, not in this case. CONS > A 3-pack sounds economical, but it's not. A 3M Pro scouring pad (e.g. two 3M Pro Grade Dual Angle scouring pads - one fine and one medium) will last longer than 3 of those "cheap" pads and will cut faster and be more comfortable to work with. I bought 2 packs of 3M Pro Medium Sanding Pads at Home Depot for $5.97 ($3 each). moderately rough surface. > Loses cutting power fairly quickly - you'll need all three for a fairly small project. Sponges, especially rough ones, are just uncomfortable to work with. PROS: They don't seem to clog up as quickly as better sanding pads, but they wear out so quickly it's a moot point. > If I was doing a little wall patching before painting, like patching nail holes, and I could find one of these for $2 or less, just a one-time use for lining plaster/putty, I might buy one of these. Note that with a little practice, Dap 12141 Fast'N Final Spackling Internal and Exterior does not usually require surface sanding when used to fill small holes. BEST QUALITY ABRASIVE SPONGE under running water and reuse at least a couple of times. Even when good sanding pads wear out, they are still good for finer sanding. With a project of the right size you can start with a good quality rough sponge and if you need a medium sized sponge it will wear down to a medium size. That's not the case with those cheap sanding sponges - as they wear out, they wear out. > Click 'Stoney' just below the product name to see my other reviews or leave a comment to ask a question.
