This is a really nice toy that I purchased for my 7 year old who loves to play with space toys. He was so excited when he found that the cabin door opened and the astronaut was removable. We did have a little trouble getting the battery compartment open. But once we did and he saw the lights and heard the sounds he couldnt stop talking about it. The sounds are not obnoxious at all like some toys! These are quieter ambience-type sounds that a space shuttle would sound like to a little boy. This toy is very well made and a great choice to watch your Childs imagination run wild.
