I had no idea how old and broken my rubber tips on the doorstops had gotten. They were cracked and terribly dirty. They just looked awful and some of them actually fell off. Instead of buying new doorstops I decided to go cheap and just buy some new nozzles. I assumed I could pound them in with a rubber mallet - WRONG! I then read a suggestion to soak them in hot water for a few minutes - this softened them up nicely and they snapped straight into place. I'm certainly glad I found them and what's the difference if I have plenty left for the future. I definitely got my money's worth.
