Review on πŸ”§ Milton 518 Analog Tire Inflator with Pressure Gauge: Efficient and OSHA Compliant Tire Pump by Todd Taniguchi

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The only true. family heirloom.

This instrument is a real bargain, built to outlive me, I'm sure my children and grandchildren will inherit this instrument one day. From the well known national hardware stores the gauge was junk and dangerously unpredictable so I had to replace the inflator and a separate gauge. Enough was enough. The first thing that struck me when using the new Milton block was how quickly the tire pressure increased. It is interesting to note that the cheaper inflator has small diameter internals that restrict airflow, while the Milton unit does not. Simple physics for smart people, a big discovery for me and a huge time saver. The cartridge remains attached to the valve stem and provides a good seal. The orange hose is long enough for me to stand up and operate the inflator, which is easy on my knees. Value = benefit - price. This device not only offers qualitative added value, but also saves time and reduces knee wear.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak
