So many differences between this and the Swanson I usually use. It's modern, accurate and lightweight. I dig black with silver writing. Everything is clear and precise (measured). However, it is not as durable and more difficult to keep clean. I don't think either coating or sealing is as good as wiping with solvent or acetone. I use it for more precise indoor work while keeping the Swanson on my tool belt. Hope this helps with the decision.
