Very hard plastic, does not provide a snug fit.
I agree with other reviews, this item is made of very hard plastic making it almost impossible to securely attach to a camping drain. It's too late for me to return the product, so next time I'll try hammering this drain hose adapter into place with a rubber mallet. Otherwise, I look for something softer rubber or plastic.
