I bought this for my aging mom, I like it better than she does. She is not impressed at all. She prefers her old landline. I had to get a technician through Tackl to set it up. After 3.5 hours he was unable to. I finally completed the set up myself and I am not a techy by no means. You need a smart phone and you need patience to learn the features. Your phone jack should be in proximity to your modem. You should know what an ethernet is and the instruction book should be written better. It was somewhat vagueand didn't provide clear instructions. Don't expect Walmart to assist you with set-up they will just refer you to Motorola. Do not expect Motorola to assist you on weekends.Only monday thru friday. Overall I like it. Just depending on your needs I think you may like it as well.
