A couple of major issues with this filter: The filter I received was not what is pictured in the listing. They look the same, but the inlet and outlet positions are reversed in the actual product, which may cause some issues depending on the tank layout. But the bigger problem is that the filter motor is only designed for 220-240V sockets. It has flat, non-polarized plugs so it physically plugs into American outlets, but the voltage is inconsistent and the impeller rotor doesn't power a full revolution, instead "swinging" in place without sucking. Refund so that was helpful of them. The product listing must be supplemented with current product photos and a clear indication of the operating voltage!
