Appeal to the manufacturer for replacing the fan. The fan made a soft rattle and also reacted incorrectly to the RGB controller, e.g. B. A faulty fan that stopped a red light when the RGB lights were off. I also had an MSI B450 and an Asus 570 motherboard installed in one case. I'm not sure if this is due to the RGB system and a bad fan, or if the PSU is to blame. The fan itself costs $10. They were willing to send me one upfront with a delay on my credit card but I still had to return the bad $15 fan so I lost $5 on something that should have been checked out at the moment. To be 100% honest, using the 3 second hold 'lights off' mode may not be what they test at the factory. Maybe they turn on the fans just long enough to check that they are spinning and that the main rainbow effect is working. In any case, it would be good service to just send me an extra fan and ask to decommission/destroy the defective fan.
