High-quality workmanship, like all Leofoto picks. The ball's movement is less smooth than expected and the resistance drops as you tilt it - the opposite of what I would like. And despite the large diameter, it cannot close tightly under heavy loads. I tested with a Leofoto LM-404C tripod with the bowl that came with it. Also, on some of my cymbals, the clamp doesn't snap tightly enough, and that's not a problem with any other clamp I have (and I have dozens of them).
