Very disappointed in Bushnell. I had 2 v4 and both died 1.5 years after purchase. The first one just stopped working one day. The first Busnell warranty service replaced it and kept their warranty. My next one died even earlier and I sent him back. The button no longer works. It slowly sank lower and lower until it could not be pressed at all and would not turn on. Because of this, he was sent back to them. Because you couldn't push the button. They sent it back and said they wouldn't replace it and wouldn't uphold the warranty because they said they found moisture had gotten into the laser based on what they saw. To which I replied that I haven't used it in the rain so I'm not sure what you're looking at and I sent it because of the button. Her response was, well, even if used in foggy or wet conditions, it might get some moisture. And since we see water damage, we will not support the warranty. Needless to say, I wasn't satisfied with this ridiculous answer. Moisture is everywhere and I can't control it. It didn't stop working because it had a short circuit, you just can't press the button anymore. They just ignored all the reasons and just said no we won't fix it. So I have our few hundred bucks and no laser. I will NEVER buy any other Bushnell product and turn all my customers away from them. I have many people asking me for references and as a business person I am a walking advertisement. Well, not for Bushnell anymore. Nevertheless, I found great solutions. Check out the Vortex 4000. Or any other Vortex product. They have amazing products and here's the kicker. LIFETIME VIP GUARANTEE! Finally a company that stands behind their products. If it gets wet, send it back; if it falls off, send it back; if it gets thrown against a wall in anger, send it back. Replaced every time. Stop giving Bushnell your money and go for a much, much better deal. I just got mine and I never look back. The last laser I ever had to buy. And it performs all the functions of a Bushnell and more. It searches for the next target like a pin, shooting further, faster and more accurately. It looks like a hunting laser but hits pins better than a Bushnell. I tested this theory on a pen that I could never hit with a Bushnell due to its environment. First attempt, with Vortex selected. Sale. I see a lot of feedback that Bushnells have gone down in quality and I can attest to that. The only way to show them that this is unacceptable is to not buy their junk. If you want a great BS free laser that you can get from Busnell warranty support, check out Vortex.
