If you're used to canned foam and find it satisfying, don't mess with Arko. You actually have to swirl the lather with a shaving brush, but when you do, you'll be amazed by the thick, creamy, and soothing nature of the warm lather as it prepares your face for the blade's attack. Some people find the scent off-putting, but I compare it to the difference between Ivory and Irish Spring - a clean scent without a hint of cologne. The recommended method of administration (moistening the bar and wiping is not recommended) is to press the flexible bar into the shaving cup and use a boar brush dipped in hot water to whip up the shaving mousse and apply to pre-moistened skin. Regular moisturizing is helpful. I've tried dozens of shaving soaps but will never switch again. Arco is the bomb.
