I often use infrared thermometers for my hot soap making as it allows me to measure the temperature of the batch I'm making without lifting the pot too need cover several times. This nifty little teat is a life saver. I recorded the temperature accurately even after dropping it. I will order more in the future. A tip, the instructions are in very small print, so take the time to read them in the right light.
