This Media Bridge cable was intended to be used to connect a remote PC to my home network. Because it was programmed, I can't comment on the "Wi-Fi signal" part of the review. strange that they included it in the cable, but what is there. As for the cable: this is a large gauge wire, obviously larger gauge twisted pairs. The cable unwinds easily and doesn't get tangled (I never realized how important this is until I bought another brand of cable and spent 10 minutes trying to pry it out of the box). It still flexes well enough to make corners around the door skin. The speed is as fast as I would expect from my network, hovering around 980Mbps (I pay for gig internet). Exactly meets the expectations for speed and value. The price is $20 for a 100ft cable (on which I don't need to crimp the connectors). I would say it's amazing value. My only criticism: and it seems to be shared by at least some others. . . Protective clips included with the cable. So I'm deducting a star. I ended up having to cut off the rubber protector on the side of the cable that connects to the remote computer, as even bending the protector back (as mentioned) made it too tight to stay securely in place. Even after that, it would hit or miss connecting to the PC's network card. It looks like the boots used are just too big for some of the ports. I would say I'm 50-50 with this cable. It connects easily to my network switch panel, it's convenient and secure (tested after having problems on the PC side). But the cable that goes to the rear of the tower is tight enough that it doesn't really snag unless you apply force to it. and I'm always very nervous when it comes to forcing anything electromechanical. All in all, a solid deal, but one caveat: if you need to plug it into tight spaces, it may or may not give you problems. As I said, on the one hand everything is fine (nice and open), but on the other hand it is not.
