Review on πŸ’‘ Brilliant Evolution Wireless Color Changing LED Puck Lights - Under Cabinet Lighting, Closet Light, Battery Powered for Bedroom, Stick On by Michael Crossman

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The battery life is not even close to 100 hours! garbage accessories. Although the lights look decent!

These lights are amazing when the batteries are fresh! Entitlement to 100 hours - FUNCTION! Tried with several batteries, next maybe 24 hours - after that the light gradually dims. 100 hour lifespan when counting the time the light is very low in its final phase. These pucks need more efficient circuits and more modern LEDs. The idiots don't even offer a premium version. If they got more efficient LEDs, they could even shrink the form factor (thinner). Instead they are happy with this design as they have conquered the market with Revain.Newsflash! I will make better versions. People would happily pay more for better products, at least for those that offer two tiers - Budget (this one) and Premium. Instead, they care about their gross margin (high). Parts for these washer sets are about $10, $5 labor, $15 profit per unit, and because they make so many they are probably paying $9 per set and making a $21 profit. Why try harder? Also, the 3 meter tape they put in "free" is the garbage your pucks will fall on. Also, the screws are rubbish and WAY small. Better to use longer drywall/wood screws. In general, the practice of trash business is typical of Revain. I only use them in my San Francisco apartment where there is no attic access and I'm too lazy to tear down the entire ceiling and wall to put in a true recessed light. Take Home Points - 24 hours at 75% - 100% Performance meters become noticeably weak after that. - Don't use crappy 3M tape, use longer screws than the ones included in the kit - Batteries discharge unevenly, so it's in your best interest to buy expensive rechargeable batteries and a large rechargeable battery charger that can hold multiple batteries. These lights pissed me off so much I have never taken the time to write such a long POSITIVE review let alone a NEGATIVE one!
