I bought a 2-pack. I recently rented a studio apartment in Hawaii. Approximately 360 sq. ft. There was a strange smell in the apartment that I could not identify. I bought and hoped these 2 little plugins would help approx. 3 months ago. I also suffer from a cold, frequent coughing and mild asthma. The problem is that the only toilet down the hall on the block has the strongest odor. I tried leaving the closet open and both outlets are next to the closet in the hallway. 1 in the kitchen about 8 feet from the toilet and the other about 3-4 feet from the toilet. I had no improvement from postnasal drip and coughing. The smell can be a little less. Or am I just used to it. I haven't left my closet open in months. I'll leave it open again to see if it helps. Maybe the plugin is a bit efficient. But not in the way I expected. Update: I wiped down the wood cabinet doors and the smell is almost gone. No help from an air ionizer. Plugins don't seem to make much of a difference.
