This is the biggest useless keyboard I've ever used and I've tried several, I've used Logitech which works great but it's not the backlit version so i thought it was cheap, i can always return it if it doesn't work and the reviews weren't that bad considering all small keyboards like this don't get good reviews. I saw a couple of reviews saying they used it on an Xbox One X which was one thing I was looking for but mostly on my Samsung TV so I tested it on both and it is failed miserably. I had almost the same results on the tv and xbox was working but not. First, either one of mine broke or the touchpad didn't work. To go back the back button didn't work most of the time, you had to use esc, sometimes it was the other way around, but there were times I got stuck on the screen and couldn't go back with either is the keyboard that really got me made you think. Let's say you're on Netflix or YouTube doing a search or whatever you need to type in Kkkkkk, so no kidding, this thing makes navigating anything harder than with a remote control. It might work with some people's TVs, but I definitely wouldn't call it universal, depending on what you're using half the features either don't work or don't do what it's supposed to do. Oh, I almost forgot that the little red scroll wheel does absolutely nothing. So like I said it's $20 and I'll refund it like they say you get what you pay for.
