Buy at your own risk

One of the worst kitchen products I have come across as it leaves a sticky residue on all sorts of surfaces that sticks forever and cannot be removed. . It left marks on glass, plastic, acrylic and ceramic and was not removed with a scouring pad, soaking agent or magic eraser. Think about it: Magic Eraser removes stains and stubborn things when nothing else can, but even it can't remove residue. When you wash the dishes, it's hard to tell if you've gotten rid of all the food dirt or not because of the residue that's also there. Then I'll try Brillo/SOS (you can try Goo Gone but that might not be good for food containers) but it scratches the plastic and even if it does work the bottom line is you shouldn't have all the cleaning made in the first round. I didn't microwave the wrapper (although you should be able to) or leave it in the fridge for an insanely long time (it was a day). Good news: 1) It seals your belongings very well. I'm not saying it isn't. 2) The residue will NOT be visible on an opaque item (they will be visible on the glass), so this product may be ok as long as you don't mind bumps and smudges appearing when you run your hand over the surface of it . . A fair number of reviewers have said that this packaging leaves no residue, but I'm not sure you'd want to risk it as I'm not the only person who said that. In this case you can get your money back, but this will not remove the balance. I use it to set down a metal can of cat food when I have leftovers, a can that I will throw away later. I would just put it on disposable plates/cups.

Pros
  • Universal Sealing Film
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
