Review on Enhance Your Ride with Electric Brushless Controller Throttle Conversion by Yung Kitamura

I bought this kit to upgrade my son's SSR SRZ800 e-bike. I learned some valuable lessons from this purchase. 1) The controller is huge for a 45 amp device, it is just monstrous and I would have trouble finding one for my application. 2) The controller has a soft start, which doesn't work for a fun off-road motorcycle. 3) The controller is not programmed in any way. 4) The motor is of poor quality, unbalanced and does not reach top speed. This kit would get a much better rating from me if it were possible to program the controller and set parameters such as direction of rotation, soft start, peak currents. , and speed. So basically the controller doesn't matter. Now the engine: The engine vibrated badly and did not work properly. I tried Kelly's best controller and it started up, shut down and started up again with a hall sensor error. The engine tried to vibrate off my bench. I took it apart and it was horribly unbalanced. All of these MY1020 engines are made at an affordable price but the one I got was rubbish. It's much better to buy the motor directly, then buy Kelly or other PLC and choke separately, it will be cheaper and better.
