Review on 🔌 Zettler Miniature Power Relay: 30A SPDT 120VAC AZ2280-1C-120A - High-Performance Solution for Various Power Applications by Carlos Abood

I bought this hoping it would be enough for my Panasonic container vacuum which is slowly deteriorating. The original replacement for this was hard to come by and would have been slightly more expensive. It seemed like a great alternative, especially considering its amperage! I thought it would be perfect for my vacuum cleaner but unfortunately it failed after about 2 weeks of use and instead I decided to just use the DPST switch to achieve the same thing. Basically the contacts started fusing and soldering together and melting the relay's outer plastic. I doubt my vacuum draws more than 30 amps (on my 20 amp switch) so I was very happy to find such an easy replacement with a perfect fit, but it hasn't quite lived up to my expectations over time.
