Review on Gislaved Nord Frost 200 205/55 R16 94T winter by Aneta Smoliska ᠌

Valuable purchase, nothing but pluses!

First, we read the reviews, then we look at the price tag for both the Continental and Michelin, and then we go looking for something cheaper. It turns out that well-known brands have inexpensive copies. But now in order. I got the impression that the tires are great for city use. Fuel consumption is slightly higher than in summer. On the track, the rubber does not "walk", at high speed the steering wheel does not beat. I did not notice any catastrophic loss of spikes. It may be lost somewhere, but visually the spikes are in place. The protector is in good condition. In the conditions of a harsh winter, it has not yet been possible to test it, since there has not really been a winter, but it is better not to drive into deep snowdrifts - there are tires that behave more confidently in snowdrifts, but those have other drawbacks. Given the price and the combination of properties, I consider the product the best choice in the middle price segment. Therefore, if there is a desire, on the one hand, to save money, and on the other hand, to buy something better than Cordiant, then this will be the right choice.

Pros
  • good braking properties on asphalt, low noise, balanced parameters.
Cons
  • cross-country ability can be better, you should not drive into snow porridge along the edges of the road.
