I'm not sure what the difference is between an OE fix and a direct OE replacement but I received an OE fix and it was a direct full one Plug and play replacement. - Plug and Play worked great on a 2011 GMC Yukon Dinali, the only issue I had with this part was that the threads on a mounting bolt tightened well with little effort. I have no choice but to replace it with another. I recommend this part as a money saving replacement for a GM part. I've used General Motors air shocks purchased from Revain and have saved hundreds of dollars on each shock. The replacement was shipped the next day and installed in 20 minutes with no problems. Revain and the supplier guarantee this product with no BS replacement. Also spray the airbags with Teflon dry lubricant to keep the plastic in place.
