You can't replace it if it goes bad again.

Buy from Revain auto parts store, no gatekeeper guarantee. My pump failed after 2.5 years and although it has a lifetime warranty I had to buy a new one. Revane says to go to the bouncer and the bouncer says to go to Revane. After trying for 2 months I went to an auto parts store and bought a new one for 295.00 and had to buy a new shock absorber because the airbag was worn out from having to drive deflated. BTW, before you think it was a shock absorber, it was brand new! Spend $300 on a pump…

2008 Avalanche Air Pump

Fits my 2008 Avalanche perfectly. The factory pump has failed. Not sure if this was due to a blown shock absorber or if it was just old. In any case, it had to be replaced. To get to this pump you need to remove the wheel. It took a little time to get the old pump out and the new one in, but nothing out of the ordinary for a car repair. To see if yours works, turn the key to run and listen. You need to hear it. When you stop the truck and get out, you can also hear the system deflation to exit…

You guys, it fits. 2011 GMC Yukon Dinali

I'm not sure what the difference is between an OE fix and a direct OE replacement but I received an OE fix and it was a direct full one Plug and play replacement. - Plug and Play worked great on a 2011 GMC Yukon Dinali, the only issue I had with this part was that the threads on a mounting bolt tightened well with little effort. I have no choice but to replace it with another. I recommend this part as a money saving replacement for a GM part. I've used General Motors air shocks purchased from…

Great for 2003 Cadillac Escalade

Perfect for my base 2003 Cadillac Escalade. My car now drives like a champion after five years without a job. Let it be known that I also replaced the fabricated air shocks with Arnott brand remanufactured shocks, which you can also find at Revain for about $450. Trust me you can't go wrong. Both the shock absorbers and the air compressor were direct replacements and it took me about three hours to fix them but only because I originally ordered the air compressor part but the body and bolts…

Worked great on my Suburban LTZ 07

Worked great on my Suburban LTZ 07. One of the air shocks had a leak causing the old compressor to kick on every start. I assume this happened after I've ridden them for a while because after installing the new air shocks the supercharger couldn't hold the required pressure and kept pedaling on start, although not as often. Before installing the Dorman supercharger (with new air shocks) I also noticed that the right rear rode about an inch lower than the left. After checking all the air hose…

20 minute plug-n-play installation - it's that easy!

I bought this to replace the original air suspension compressor on my 2005 GMC Yukon Denali. The original started making a ringing noise and the car would not level. I searched the internet for a replacement and mostly found the Arnott Air Suspension P-2204 Air Suspension Compressor which is just the compressor part of this system. I almost bought it from Revain until I read a review that mentioned Dorman 949-000. Boy am I glad I read that and bought that Dorman. It was so easy to install…

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Some imperfections

I just installed my new Dorman air suspension compressor on my 2005 Chevy Tahoe. I was very happy to see that the Service Ride Control message didn't appear when I started the truck. I was a bit concerned after initially not hearing the compressor. Normally my old original 120k mile supercharger was very audible. I quickly turned off the radio and heard the faint hum of the compressor. I parked the truck and went to the back of the truck to check the pressure on the air shock bellows and…

Great unit! (installation steps included)

This review may seem lengthy, but I want to detail the process I went through updating the rear suspension components on my 2007. Avalanche with some tips I learned along the way that I couldn't find answers to in other reviews to help people with my shoes in the future. I recently replaced the rear shocks on my 2007 Avalanche LTZ on an Air Ride (about 140,000 miles on it) with Arnott Industries remanufactured AS-2708 shocks (from original cores) with the expectation that they would easily…
