So far these have worked great with the Spectra S2. I have not experienced any loss in suction.As with anything that is long, the tubing has the potential to tangle but the extra length is helpful for pump placement on a side table.The duckbill valves fit nice and snug and are much easier to remove than the original Spectra valves. I can also use these for the Medela Symphony. I am still skeptical about how well the space between the rings can be kept clean but I have not had any problems so far.
