I have a fancy counting scale so I decided to count and see if it really was a pack of 1000. 990 came in my package, your mileage may vary, obviously not a big deal. They also come loose in a shipping box, so you'll need to provide your own storage solution if the shipping box doesn't fit. The quality of the pads themselves is good.
