Review on Darice 3.25 x 8 Inches Airbrush Stand - Convenient Holder for Airbrushing Tasks by Lori Aguirre

The clamp part is the only thing I like about this holder. The overall design is reasonable but once the plastic base breaks I will end up modifying it to make it how it should be. I have a Paasche H type airbrush and I find this holder best suited for the following modifications: 1. The rod holding the airbrush wire holder is too short in my opinion. It needs to be at least 1 inch longer to work properly with my brush. However, I would prefer it to be at least 2-3 inches longer. The same rod could be inserted into the metal base with a locking screw so it could stop the rod from rotating if needed. In the current design, the plastic support post has a conical hole (already from below). The metal shank has a square notch at the end that provides a loose interference fit that grips only where the shank is cut. If the manufacturer had engineered this correctly, the stem would be tapered to match the base and it would fit like a dream. There's enough contact area between the base and the handle to hold the handle in place when you hit the brush, but not so much that you can't easily rotate the handle at the base to adjust its position. The yellow U-wire should expand its radius to about 5/16 - 3/8 inch; This way my brush sits deep in the U and doesn't accidentally get knocked out of the holder.3. The yellow U wires are also too close together front to back. The distance between them should be at least 2-3 inches so the hand can get there to grab the brush. The two plastic brush holders are useless for Paasche H brushes. If I knew what to use it for I would keep it.5 The plastic base should be metal rather than plastic for durability.
