I was switching from a silicone phone case to this one when another one started to tear (after 1 year of heavy use). I usually hold 3 cards in it and that's it. It does a great job of keeping them there when I'm using the phone relatively carefully, but I have mine in and out of my pocket all the time and the cards weren't secure enough for my peace of mind. The wallet has a STRONG stretch. It would be better if you store more things there. I'm not sure. If you regularly slip your phone in and out of your pocket or bag, I'd settle for a silicone.
