Absolutely perfect
I use it for pen and ink work, sketching in my sketchbook and transferring to thicker paper for drawing. I have to say that you can see very well even on thick paper. It's SUPER thin and easily fits on my desk. The light is pleasantly bright, but not so strong that it strains the eyes. I use tape to keep things secure, but the surface can be a little static and the paper doesn't slide very easily. I have a big. That's great. If you think it will be helpful, maybe it will be.
