These milling cutters look good and cut well as long as you don't take too much wood in one pass. I made whole passes with a 3/4" router and it got hot enough to ignite the chips. This router bit dulled quickly, possibly due to excessive heat combined with the density of the wood I was working with. When cutting softer woods (mahogany, spruce, pine) these knives seem to stay sharp longer and not overheat.
