I LOVE that it has a button that just beeps because it knows that when I press it it means it's too far walked and started walking backwards. I have a little dachshund and we have been working on her barking. I don't need a collar because I think it's okay to bark sometimes, but using the quiet command means this is a situation where barking isn't good. He's getting better but sometimes not, I don't listen and then I just give him a little electric shock to let him know. It has great battery life. I like that it's easy to charge, although I wish you could disable the remote. If you can, I haven't figured out how to do this and haven't bothered to really investigate. I think the material is durable and I like that it's waterproof. I also like that the collar is TOO long so you can easily cut it off where you need it for your dog. I think this is a good little product in every way. I wish there was a vibrate button and I think the other model has it, but it wasn't necessary for longer range and for my needs. I will say if this doesn't seem to work for you, it may be because you haven't tightened it enough. I was afraid to tighten it because it seemed like it would be uncomfortable, but when I pulled it too loose it didn't work. So I pulled it tighter and it didn't seem to bother him at all, which made me feel better. I left it with him for a few hours and it didn't interfere with anything, including the game. It looks quite bulky but only weighs 12 pounds.
