Review on πŸ”§ Efficient Kitchen-Pro Cast Iron & Pyrex Chainmail Scrubber with Silicone Insert - Lifetime Warranty by Clay Elmer

A serious disadvantage

I use steel and cast iron pans every day. I don't like using soapy water with a washcloth, so over the course of a year I've developed a ritual of using stainless steel or copper washcloths with plain hot water, then wiping with a dishcloth and placing on a still-hot stovetop until they are dry. The problem is that stainless steel and copper scrubbers aren't actually stainless steel or copper, and they rust quickly and leave a mess on the sink, which pisses my wife off. So I saw this scrubber and bought it with high hopes. The only major downside is the size of the intertwined stainless steel circles. They are too large in diameter, making them ineffective in removing pan debris, particularly debris that has become attached to the junction between the bottom and the sides of the pan. What used to be very quick and easy with the old, typical, easily deformable stainless steel scrubber now requires 4-5 times more time and effort when using this tool. If the circles were half the size, this tool would work MUCH better on all surfaces of my pans. Despite this, this tool appears to be well-made and reliable.

Pros
  • Ease of setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
