Best for cast iron.

My father-in-law sold me for it. Best Cast Iron Cleaner! Ideal for semi aged or new cast iron or just really dirty cast iron after cooking. I don't know what else to say other than it made cleaning so much easier. Highly recommended, especially if you cook a lot with cast iron.

Can't solve squats (or just squats).

I liked it. I was looking for an eco-friendly (non-plastic, reusable) alternative to Scotchbrite-style pads. The problem is that the cross-section of each ring is round; no edge, no grip to scrape together. The only thing I find it useful for is removing leftover oats from the pan before using. I use a suitable washcloth, but this also works best with a cleaning brush. A nylon brush and copper pads work best for cleaning all surfaces including cast iron, glass, stainless steel, ceramics.

Ideal for cleaning cast iron pans!

I have 2 cast iron skillets that I use very regularly and was looking for a better option than the steel scrubber I had at home. I have this and it works significantly better than anything else I've used. Cleaning the pan does not require much effort and effortlessly removes all stains and dirt. I do a quick final rinse and it's clean. I threw it in the dishwasher and had no trouble cleaning it. I hang a washcloth ring on the faucet handle. Very durable. Looks a little pricey for a pan sponge…

Very easy to take and use.

I love that. very clever to have a silicone insert. It's a lot easier to pick up and clean than the flat chain mail I had before. The silicone is flexible enough to cover every corner of the pot, but strong enough not to deform when squeezed. I don't use salt or anything like that. Just hot water and a quick scrub and everything is clean. I then dry it off with a paper towel and then use conditioner. I've used it a few times and it's still holding up well as it came so it will last me a…

He does what he says, great

That's what he looks like. I have always used large pieces of chaincloth for cleaning, I bought this for my grandma and she loves the fact that you can use it as a durable sponge for your durable pots. You can put your fingers through the post where you can insert and remove the silicone. Then you can comfortably maneuver through the pan groves and not feel like cleaning a stack of mail. It cleans perfectly, you don't even have to pull it out of your mail. At a restaurant I worked at we use…

Does exactly what it's supposed to do

I'm new to cooking with cast iron and after reading about cooking and cleaning with it I decided to give this scrubber a try. For me the perfect cleaner. It offers an excellent balance between the hardness needed to scrape leftover food off the bottom and the flexibility needed to flex to easily clean the curve of the pan's sides as well as the rim in between. It was'nt easy. first insert the silicone insert into the mesh, but there it stays in place. Cleaning the scraper is as easy as cleaning

May be good for cast iron but bad for stainless steel

Advertised as "KITCHEN-PRO Scrubber for Cast Iron, Pyrex and Stainless Steel Scrapers". I wouldn't try it on pyrex because I can't believe it won't scratch and I don't have pyrex to risk, but it's actually a lot less effective on stainless steel than one of those steel mesh balls you can im for a buck Buy Dollar Store. This review was prompted by an experience I've just had with a frying pan where the scrap from my dinner prep burned up pretty well. I tackled it with the KITCHEN-PRO and after a

A serious disadvantage

I use steel and cast iron pans every day. I don't like using soapy water with a washcloth, so over the course of a year I've developed a ritual of using stainless steel or copper washcloths with plain hot water, then wiping with a dishcloth and placing on a still-hot stovetop until they are dry. The problem is that stainless steel and copper scrubbers aren't actually stainless steel or copper, and they rust quickly and leave a mess on the sink, which pisses my wife off. So I saw this scrubber…

Awesome - love it!

I learned to cook on a cast iron gas stove before gas stoves had automatic ignition – you had to use a match. and teflon pans. But recently I got a huge discount on a used gas stove. I love it. I prefer cast iron. I wish I could keep my grandmother's frying pans, but we didn't. I teach my husband how to handle and care for cast iron. This scrubber is the best idea and I really like it. When the pan has cooled, I add salt to the pan and use this scrubber. It all takes off. Add some water to…
