I've been looking for a wooden washboard for years because we had it growing up and I wanted to wash my socks my child and other small items of clothing. I don't always have to use the washing machine, and sometimes my kid gets his socks so dirty that the washing machine needs manual help. In fact, it's an upgrade from the one I grew up with and makes the job so much easier than using a washing machine. separate washboard, I'd have to find a way to leave it in the sink and stay in a bucket or something. This design makes it a lot easier because I don't have to find a way to support it. And it's so light that after use I can just hang it up to dry on a small hook just above the sink. It's a shame I didn't discover this product sooner. My hands and skin would be grateful. And yes I would buy it again and my grandma (RIP) would love to have something like this on her heavy wooden washboard.
