Very disappointed with the duvet sets

Finally got around to putting the duvet on the bed ordered about 3 weeks ago. I ordered the king size that I wanted, love the color scheme and the thickness. BUT where they are put together the pattern is misaligned, looks awful and is almost in the middle of the bed. I was very disappointed. I have rearranged my room to ease the grieving process since I recently lost my husband. Purple was his favorite color. I don't want to bother with repacking and sending it back, mainly due to the fact that the full amount isn't sent back to me.
