I probably didn't buy them for what they were intended for. get into the water. As you can imagine I have a problem with flip flops and I don't want my regular shoes to get wet. They have better grip on the river bottom than any other shoe I've worn in recent times. My only complaint is that the mud grip is so thorough that it's difficult to get off the ground until it's completely dry. Also, and partly due to the design, your feet will sweat profusely after wearing them for a few minutes. They fit well and do the job required, which is why I give them 4 stars. But if you're looking to buy them for the same reason I do, I'd probably say a 3-star rating would be more accurate.
