Review on BOM Creator by Andrew Gomez

I've used BOM creator for several years. I was part of the sales team and it was mostly selling to contractors. The biggest problem with this product is the interface. It's outdated and slow to a degree that I don't use it anymore. I recommend trying other products like Autocad, Pro/E etc. if you are on the market for an add on BOM software. Sometimes I need to update our BOM faster than my coworkers can create it. I have seen improvements over the past few years but it's still too cumbersome to use. I'm not sure what it can do but the lack of a graphical user interface is an issue. The most amazing thing about this software it that you can do almost everything with one click. I wish they would make some improvements like adding options from other programs so we could print our own labels or drawings instead of just having them as images. We have been able to streamline our entire production process by creating bills of materials using 3D models created elsewhere along with purchasing information.
