I've been using this machine for two days and I really like it so far. I have a small craft business and am tired of using a hammer to attach eyelets. Mine came with instructions which were helpful. My only problem is that I drive so fast that I sometimes forget to put one side of the jack in the setter. This is clearly not a manufacturing defect. At least from the side of the car. I'm happy to pass on tips. My current project consists of two layers of durable twill with quilted wadding in between. I found I could start the hole with an awl and then hit both sides of the fabric at that point with a setter. The fabric snags, but then I can trim off the excess. Now I can install bushings faster, cleaner, and more accurately than before. I know it's not a hit, but this method works for me. Of course, your mileage may vary. But so far I'm quite satisfied and my shoulders are getting a good load!
