Review on 🎮 Media Hub + for PS3 by Nonito Shin

I bought this to complement my Playstation 3. It is well made and comes with two adapters, one for 40GB PS3 and one for 20GB, 60GB and 80GB PS3. I think the adapters are mislabeled (marking molded into the actual adapter). I struggled to connect the Media Hub to my system using the 40GB adapter, but when I tried using a different adapter it snapped. The adapters have two small spikes that "lock" the Media Hub onto the PS3 using the front vents. The Media Hub brings the total number of USB ports on my PS3 to four. For a 40GB PS3, the Media Hub can only be connected to the LEFT USB port. It perfectly fits the PS3 front panel and can be used when the PS3 is in both vertical and horizontal position. The only thing I would advise Niko to improve on is that the matte black finish needs to be gloss black to match the PS3 finish. . This is a minor nitpick, but it will improve the aesthetics of the device. Also, Media Hub only "adds" two additional USB devices, not three. The 40GB PS3 has two USB ports. Adding this device brings the total to four instead of five (since one of the existing USB ports is occupied by the device). This is a very functional USB hub and card reader.
