Review on Enhance Your Ceiling Fan Experience with QIACHIP Universal Wireless Remote Control Kit – Black and White, Small by Dezz Watson

Firstly, this remote control is NOT made by Westinghouse and is not under any license. This disappointed me because I was looking for something better than an item direct from Shenzhen on eBay, even though it was the same with the Westinghouse license / sticker on the remote control. This is a low cost general purpose component that comes in a standard box. Installation was pretty easy considering it's the same size as the cheap universal remote that came with my expensive branded ceiling fan. That's good because there's no documentation at all. AWESOME, the ceiling module beeps when it receives a command from the remote control. I would prefer it because any little noise can disturb a sleeping child/baby/woman, but it's not too loud. Medium speed works well. However, when I set it to low speed, the fan turns on TURBO for 5 seconds and then switches to too slow a speed with a background hum that sounds like a dump truck engine braking. hopes to have this working within a year or two.
